Tatiana Cabral

M.Ed. - Director of Education (Weston)

Tatiana has been working in the special education setting for nearly 12 years, many of which have been with Child Provider Specialists. Tatiana acts as the Director of Education for our Weston campus, ensuring that each child and family receives the support and guidance that they need as they navigate the journey to success with CPS.

In addition to acting as Director, Tatiana is the designated reading specialist at CPS Weston. She works with students in small groups and in one-on-one sessions to improve their reading fluency, phonemic and phonological awareness, and comprehension skills through multisensory, evidence-based interventions. Tatiana is passionate about making reading, writing, and language fun for children and adolescents, as she helps create individualized reading programs based on proven interventions to promote growth, boost self-esteem, and achieve progress.

She completed her B.A. at Florida Atlantic University and then went on to complete her Master of Education in Special Education with an emphasis in Academic and Behavioral Support at Pennsylvania State University. In addition to her education, Tatiana has completed multiple credentials through the Institute of Multi-Sensory Education (OG) and the Lindamood-Bell Center in literacy interventions. She also has completed 50+ hours of training as a registered behavioral technician and has extensive graduate-level training in positive behavioral intervention and behavior management in the classroom.

As a born and raised Weston, Florida native, Tatiana invests in her community in her free time. She often can be found volunteering with the City of Weston as an active and certified member of the local Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) or fishing and exploring Floridian nature and waters with her son in her free time.
