Katharine Salgado

Psychology Intern

Katharine obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida International University in 2015. She then obtained her master’s from Southern New Hampshire University in 2017 with a concentration in child and adolescent development. Katharine is currently completing her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University (NSU). During her graduate training, she completed various practicum rotations, where she conducted neuropsychological evaluations and focused on therapeutic interventions with various mental health concerns across all ages, in English and Spanish. This included treating children and adolescents diagnosed with a range of childhood disorders including mood and anxiety, adjustment disorders, phobias, and conduct disorders. In her current role as a psychology intern, Katharine continues to conduct neuropsychological assessments, primarily serving clients in the Weston area. She meets with parents to collaboratively develop tailored intervention plans and evidence-based recommendations to meet the individual needs of the child.
