Mrs. Tiuso joined our CPS staff in June 2023. Prior to joining CPS, Mrs. Tiuso worked as a Reading Coach for grades K-12 and taught grades 2, 3, and 4 in the classroom. In December 2023, Mrs. Tiuso completed her Dyslexia Certification from The University of Florida, her Certification in Structured Literacy from The Center of Effective Reading Instruction, and is currently working on her Master of Education in Reading from UF (go Gators!). As a Certified Dyslexia Interventionist, Mrs. Tiuso has a passion for helping students LOVE reading and be confident readers and writers! With training from the University of Florida Literacy Institute, Orton-Gillingham, and Lindamood-Bell, Mrs. Tiuso enjoys all things language. Growing up in Naples, FL and with her undergraduate degree from Florida Gulf Coast University, Mrs. Tiuso has a heart for South Florida and supporting local children and families. When she is not at school, she loves cooking and baking, relaxing at the beach and learning a new language: Spanish (with the help of Coach Liris!).
