Anthony J. Galati is a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Galati grew up in New Jersey where he began his education at Rutger’s University before finishing his undergraduate studies at Nova Southeastern University. He then completed his Masters and Doctoral degrees at Nova Southeastern University, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
During his clinical training, he completed various practicum rotations focused on therapeutic interventions for various mental health concerns. He gained experience from his clinical rotation at Florida Atlantic University’s College Counseling Center. Here he developed his understanding of how stress, anxiety, depression, and relational concerns emerge for college students. Dr. Galati deepened his understanding of how to help students navigate school stressors through his internship at Florida International University’s Counseling and Psychological Services Center (FIU CAPS). He gained more experience conducting individual and group therapy, hosting workshops, and being involved in outreach events.
Dr. Galati became a member of Child Provider Specialists during his post-doctoral training. He received additional training in conducting psychoeducational evaluations, as well as utilizing this vital information to inform treatment approaches. Further, he expanded the scope of his practice to include working with adolescents. He operates out of our office in Naples, Florida.
