Ana Maria Rojas, M.S., is a bilingual School Psychology Specialist candidate at Barry University with more than five years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families in educational and mental health settings. She earned her Master of Science in School Psychology and has continued to expand her professional training through practicum and internship experiences in school and clinical settings.
Her professional experience includes psychological and educational assessment, academic and behavioral support, emotional and behavioral interventions, and collaboration with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams. Through her graduate training experience, Ana Maria has developed hands-on experience supporting children and adolescents with a variety of academic, behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs.
Ana Maria has worked with students and families in public schools in Miami and private school settings in Broward County, providing both in-person and virtual services. Her desire to work with children and adolescents began through her involvement in youth ministry, where she developed a strong interest in supporting young people and their families. That early experience continues to influence the way she approaches her work today with compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to understand and support each child.
Ana Maria provides services in both English and Spanish and values creating a supportive and respectful environment where children and families feel heard, understood, and supported.
Outside of her professional work, Ana Maria values spending time with her family, especially her husband and three daughters, who are an important part of her life and a constant source of love, motivation, and purpose.
