Katarina is a Doctoral Intern at Child Provider Specialists. She is currently completing her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University, specializing in Child, Adolescent, and Family Psychology. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Tulane University.

Throughout her doctoral training, Katarina has provided evidence-based psychological services to children, adolescents, adults and families across high-acuity and specialized care settings, including inpatient psychiatric units, academic medical centers, and community health centers. Her experience spans comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessment, individual and family therapy, and multidisciplinary care for complex clinical presentations. She has developed specialized clinical expertise in treating anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and behavioral concerns using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and transdiagnostic protocols.

Katarina approaches evaluation from a collaborative, strengths-based perspective. She utilizes comprehensive testing to understand each child’s unique cognitive, academic, emotional, and developmental profile, translating complex diagnostic data into practical, actionable recommendations that empower families and support long-term well-being.
