Jessa is a new member to Child Provider Specialists. She has 9 years of teaching experience with focus on Special Education in elementary education. She completed her Bachelor of Education in Special Education in the University of San Carlos, Philippines and her Masters in Elementary Education at Chowan University, North Carolina. In addition to her education, she also obtained her National Board Certification in 2024 for Exceptional Needs Specialist/Early Childhood through Young Adulthood.

Her special education experience is mainly focused on providing small group instruction for reading and mathematics. She has experience in the science of reading programs for reading interventions. She utilizes research-based interventions or programs in reading and math to ensure that each student receives individualized lessons that can also be progress monitored. Jessa is passionate about making Mathematics and English language arts fun for children and adolescents.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Jessa recently moved from Maryland to Florida. She enjoys volunteering for different food pantries in South Florida. She enjoys live music shows, board games, hiking, swimming, and spending time in the water with her dog.
