Dr. Mikaela Rizzo is a Licensed Psychologist, specializing in school neuropsychological evaluations, psycho-educational evaluations, and comprehensive psychological evaluations. She brings a holistic and integrative perspective to her work, informed by experience across hospital, school, private practice, and residential behavioral health settings.

Guided by the philosophy that “When a flower doesn’t bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower” (Alexander Den Heijer), Dr. Rizzo is dedicated to fostering supportive environments for children and adolescents. Rather than focusing on “fixing” the child, she collaborates closely with families, mental health providers, teachers, and school administrators to develop individualized recommendations, referrals, and treatment plans that address each child or adolescent’s unique needs, while also identifying their strengths.

Dr. Rizzo is certified as a Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider and is currently pursuing a fellowship in Functional Psychiatry. She is passionate about integrating neuroscience, nutrition, and lifestyle factors into her clinical practice, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client care.
