Karli Tinney, a Certified Dyslexia Instructor, joined the CPS staff in June 2023. Ms. Tinney has a passion for helping students grow to love reading and be confident in themselves. Growing up in Naples, FL and with her undergraduate degree from Florida Gulf Coast University, Ms. Tinney has a heart for South Florida and supporting local children and families. Prior to joining CPS, Ms. Tinney worked as a Reading Coach for grades K-12 and taught grades 2, 3, and 4 in the classroom.

In December 2023, Ms. Tinney completed her Dyslexia Certification from The University of Florida and is currently working on her Master of Education in Reading from UF (go Gators!) and her Certification in Structured Literacy from The Center of Effective Reading Instruction. In her free time, Ms. Tinney loves cooking, baking, practicing her Spanish, and enjoying the Naples beaches with her fiancé.
